Summer Learning Journey, day 3 [Topic]

Today, one of the activities was to interview 3 friends about what they are most proud of. I chose to do this.

What are you most proud of?
"Not being tempted to do stupid things."
Why is this a big accomplishment to you?
"I would usually do stupid things, but I don't, when given the chance."

Lennox -
What are you most proud of?
"My maths."
Why is this a big accomplishment to you?
"I have been struggling in my maths, but now I am not."

What are you most proud of?
"Staying on task."
Why is this a big accomplishment to you?
"It is really hard for me."

Summer Learning Journey, Day 2 [Topic]

In class, we have been doing an 'Instrument Project' about any instrument we wanted. I chose to do the Aulos. I hope you enjoy mine!

Summer learning Journey, Day 1 [Topic]

In class, we were doing part of the 'teaser week' of the 'Summer learning journey'. For day 1, we had the choice of doing a DLO for a few people who worked in 'Art and Entertainment'. One of those people was Lorde, so I did her.

Descriptive Writing [Writing]

Passion Project [Topic]

In class, we are making passion projects. For those who don't know what that is, it is a DLO of your choice about a subject. We had criteria to do it on something we didn't know a lot about, so I chose 'Alice in Wonderland (The Book)'. Here it is!

Kaitaia Animation [Topic]

In class recently, we have been making animations or storybooks for 5 - 8-year-olds. The stories had to be about how a place got its name in Muriwhenua. I chose Kaitaia, and this is the animation.
