Summer Learning Journey, day 3 [Topic]

Today, I have decided to write about someone who has a positive impact on my life. I chose to do someone called Clara.

"Dahlia is a positive impact on my life. She is rebellious, if not a difficult person. She, despite being someone who causes trouble, cares for her family, and friends. Dahlia, when put in a situation when most would have given up, she didn't give up and succeeded."

Infographic [Writing]

For writing, we were given the task of making an infographic. I have done another one, about global warming, but this one is a very basic timeline of piracy. Did you learn anything from it, and if so, what?

Where no boat could live [Reading]

For reading, we had an article called, 'Where No Boat Could Live', by Robert Fyfe. It was about the Moriori's unique design of waka, which was a wash-through waka. We had to create a DLO, which described the points of a wash-through waka. This is mine!

Kindness poster [Reading]

In our class, we are doing a novel study on the book 'Wonder' by L.J Palacio. We also had to create a drawing on google draw about the scene we were at in the book. Pop art

At the end of last year, I had finished all of the 'must do's' on the list, so I got to work on some pop art that had been a 'can do' for a while. I never got round to publishing it, so I am doing now. Here is how it's done...

You find your image you wish to 'pop art' and copy and paste onto google drawings. Then you use 'polylines', which are over here... of course, click the down arrow to find 'polyline'. 
Then you use polylines to make your own shapes which makes the image.
